Christmas serves as a profound reminder of love, hope, and renewal. It encourages us to reflect on our lives over the past year, allowing us to recognize our shortcomings and the sinful thoughts and behaviors we may have exhibited. Since we are all sinners, this sacred season invites us to treat ourselves and those around us with forgiveness and compassion. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we are reminded of the transformative power of grace. Christmas is not only a time for joy and celebration; it’s also an opportunity for introspection and growth, inspiring us to make positive changes in the year ahead. Accept that salvation is of the Lord. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.-Romans 10:9.” If we are truly sorry for our sins and confess them to the Lord, and if we believe that His Son, Jesus, died for us, taking upon himself the punishment for sin we deserve, then the Lord forgives us and gives us the gift of salvation. The moment this happens, the Holy Spirit enters our life and begins transforming us into a new person on the inside. Then, we know that our lives can and will be different.
