Our physical condition will change with age. The height and shape of youngsters will become more attractive, while adults like me slowly decline in physical fitness. Certainly, youngsters care for their image among peers. At my age, I also care if I can run as fast and as far as youngsters. Yet, we all know that this fantasy could only lead me to endless disappointment. I am not saying that we should not care about our physical condition. I still do exercise for health, but I would not complain, for I am no longer as healthy as before. “Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? – 1 Corinthians 6:19.” Keeping a healthy physical state is not for attraction, but it allows me to run another mile for the Lord.
