Youngsters are full of energy.  Their body, soul, and mind are all ready to face challenges.  It seems boring for them to be Christians with so many “don’ts.” – We don’t be this and can’t do that.  Actually, we feel bored because we have merely focused on our own needs.  We are not making ourselves available to the Lord.  The “dos & don’ts” in the Bible are seldom written for the present pleasure of individuals.  Instead, it is for the caring of others and the glory of the Lord.  “Our great desire is that you will keep on loving others as long as life lasts to make certain that what you hope for will come true.  Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who will inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance.  Hebrews 6:11-12.”  When we know that the mighty Lord wants to accomplish His great works in the world through us, we will be excited to see how great the things happen through the “dos & don’ts.”  Focus on developing our God-given talents so that He can bless the world through us.  We may find it exciting in the Christian life.
