What motivates us not to shrink even at the center of the storm? Can it be simply explained by our responsibility of keeping an oath or a written contract? When Jeremiah started his career as a shepherd of a nation, he recognized his life mission as a divine experience.  “I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born, I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.   Jeremiah 1:5″

I am not saying that a divine proof is a must, but if we treat our job as a part of our life mission instead. I believe that the Lord calls everyone to accomplish a very specific ministry. But no one can tell another what the calling is.

In the words of Viktor Frankl, “We must find out the calling for ourselves. If we succeed, we will continue to grow despite all indignities.” I know the Lord’s calling on me. He allows me to feel a very strong sense of leading from Him. It motivates me not to shrink even at the center of the storm. We all can seek His advice on our specific life mission. As He has promised, “Seek, and ye shall find!” Yet, it is up to us to respond and walk through the door of opportunity He opens.
