Though we are different, we still share a common: We yearn to be loved. Whether we are bad or smart, slow or fast, rebellion or obedient, we have all wanted one thing: love. The relationships with parents are no different from those with students. The Bible says nothing is above love. Joseph showed love to his brothers when they mistreated him. There may be conflicts between parent and teacher in parenting, but when we show love and listen with empathy, complaints from parents can be dissolved. Parents send us their children, and it’s up to us to love them while they are with us.
