When I was in adversity, I prayed to the Lord every day. My relationship with the Lord was the closest during the time. Since then, I have developed a habit of reading five chapters of Psalm at the beginning of every day so that I could finish reading the book once within a month. Yet, I feel difficult to sustain the practice when I am at my mountaintop. I know it is dangerous to my leadership. As mentioned in Matthew 26 that the temptation is so real. My spirit is willing, but my body is weak. The Lord has a higher standard for those who are influential. As it is said: “Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly. ” – James 3:1. Begin every day with a morning devotion, and He will keep us on the righteous way.
