Participating in the Harvard Book Prize Award 2025 has been an enriching experience. I deeply appreciated the focus on both academic achievement and personal insight.

Receiving this award has inspired me to pursue my academic goals with renewed passion. The book “Science and Cooking” resonated with me, highlighting the connections between science, creativity, and food. It ignited my curiosity and reinforced the idea that inquiry drives innovation.

Overall, this program has connected me with like-minded peers and deepened my appreciation for literature. I encourage anyone interested in expanding their horizons to consider this incredible opportunity.

First and foremost, I would like to sincerely thank our teacher Kaman Li for her recommendation, as well as the principal for gracing us with his presence at the award ceremony. Receiving the Harvard Book Award is a tremendous honor—it is both an encouragement and an affirmation of my love for reading.

Ever since primary school, I have loved reading books, but I often forgot what I had read and had to start over, as if I were running in circles. That changed when I came across “*Atomic Habits”*, a book that completely transformed my attitude and approach toward learning. It taught me that small, consistent efforts, compounded over time, can lead to remarkable change. From then on, I cultivated a daily reading habit—taking notes on key ideas and my own reflections, then revisiting them regularly. Applying this method to my studies not only improved my efficiency and retention but also allowed me to engage more fully in extracurricular activities. It turns out, there really is a *method* to learning!

This award has further convinced me that reading is one of life’s most important pursuits. It not only expands our knowledge but also fosters personal growth. Through reading, I have learned perseverance and deeper thinking.

Looking ahead, I hope to maintain my reading habit. I plan to study business administration in college to explore the world of commerce. At the same time, I’d like to encourage my peers to read more. No matter the genre, every book holds the potential to inspire. Reading may not provide immediate answers, but it quietly accompanies you on your life journey, helping you become the best version of yourself.
